Activities & Events

With the new Government restrictions to stop the spread of the corona virus, we have had to make the decision to close after lunch on Friday  20th March. We hope that you will all stay safe and well until we can re-open.

June 2020: Please note that our building is remaining closed until the situation improves. We need to protect our hard-working cooks, who not only prepare lunches for over 30 members every day but also deliver the meals. For their sake and the sake of members, we need to keep the place free from any chance of infection from outside.

If you have registered for the lunchtime delivery service and need to contact us about this, the phone will be manned between 9.30 am and 10.30 am, Monday to Friday: 01273-476469.

Please note that the Annual General Meeting due to be held on the 20th August will be postponed until November.

The Executive Committee is planning to re-open the House of Friendship to members in early September if it is safe to do so. We will advise you accordingly.

Extend exercise classes:
For those who are missing their regular Extend classes, or for those who feel like some gentle exercise while the lockdown is on, Andy has put a few exercises on “Youtube” for anyone who has access to the internet. Just Google “Youtube” then type “Andy’s Extending Exercises” in the search bar at the top. Have fun!
